DBZ Dokkan Battle: How to Unlock Porunga Missions

Unlock Porunga Missions in DBZ Dokkan Battle

Recommended Videos

Even three years on, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle has proven itself a worthy bearer of the iconic franchise’s name and continues to draw in new players on a regular basis. It’s no surprise then that the game has received a worthwhile anniversary event in the form of Porunga missions and dragon balls, allowing players access to a wide array of new power-ups should they complete the challenges blocking him off from them.

The missions unlock automatically while the event is taking place, allowing players to collect up to one Porunga Dragon Ball each day by completing any of seven missions tied to the first tier. After every mission is completed for the first tier, the second tier will become available, and once all the missions are completed for the second tier, missions from the third tier will be available to take on.

Each mission comes with a riddle for how to unlock and complete it, as shown by some examples from the first tier down below:

One Star Ball: Daily training is crucial to getting stronger.

  • Answer: Train any one character.

Two Star Ball: Find the button for switching between Quests and Events on the HOME screen.

  • Answer: Switch between Quests and Events three times.

Three Star Ball: Battle alongside the little warrior who saved Dende from Dodoria.

  • Answer: Complete any quest with Gohan (Kid) on your team.

Four Star Ball: Is it possible to be friends with yourself?

  • Answer: Find your own ID in the Friend Search and try to send a friend request.

Five Star Ball: The Scouter had an abnormal reaction?!

  • Answer: Tap the scouter at the top right corner of your screen.

Six Star Ball: Where can you find lots of Awakening Medals?

  • Answer: Complete any one of the stages of Battle for Awakening Medals.

Seven Star Ball: A Dragon Ball is also hidden inside the banner!?

  • Answer: Click the Porunga banner on the home screen.

The riddles and completion requirements for the second and third tiers follow the same framework, and can be found here.

The Porunga missions are set to run until Aug. 3, 2018. For more on all things Dokkan Battle, check out all of our other guides for the game here.
