Mario Tennis Aces: How To Lob Shot

How to Lob Shot in Mario Tennis Aces

Recommended Videos

Mario Tennis Aces features various shots you can use to rack up all the points you possibly can as you face off against various opponents. These range from Slices and Topspins to the ever-popular Lob shot. The best part? None of them are very difficult to do, and you’ll come out on top when you employ the various different serves and shots you can return the ball with.

The Lob shot in particular is quite simple and useful. All you have to do to pull it off is press the “X” button while pressing the left analog stick up. You can do this on your Joy-Con controllers or Pro Controller. The timing is essential, and so is holding the left analog stick up, because if you don’t do it, you won’t pull off the right shot.

Lobbing balls will give you less distance and more height on your shots in Mario Tennis Aces, so your opponent will be confused as to where they should run to on the court. This can buy you precious time or get you back on the scoreboard in no time.

That’s about all you need to know about performing Lob shots in Mario Tennis Aces. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our comprehensive wiki.
