Just two hours after the Season 6 blog update went live, For Honor Creative Director Roman Campos-Oriola tweeted, “#E3…#ForHonor…can’t wait😎.” While this tweet doesn’t guarantee new heroes are coming to the game, a look at what the Season Six update blog details might.

Kicking off May 17, the the Hero’s March update is not only adding major updates for heroes, a new seasonal event, and a new way to look at your cosmetic items, it’s also bringing a new map.

“Hero’s March adds the new Beachhead map for free, letting players battle for its fortress in all multiplayer modes except Tribute,” the blog update reads.

The two heroes receiving updates are Orochi and Peacekeeper, and these updates include major gameplay reworks, according to the blog. Specific details regarding these changes will be released on the official For Honor site before the launch of Season Six. Alongside these heroes’ reworks comes a cosmetic visual rework. Called the Visual Collection, this new feature will allow players to track their cosmetic visuals in a menu separate from their inventory – which should cut down greatly on clutter – and apply them to any gear they have. According to the blog, this means that players won’t need to hang on to excess gear. The new seasonal event teased in the blog update will be detailed closer to launch.

If a blog update discusses a new map, hero reworks, a new seasonal event, and a new cosmetic feature, it seems like the creative director of the game wouldn’t tease anything similar to this leading up to E3. One thing missing from this blog update is the mention of a new hero – a new hero announcement seems more E3 than blog update but only time will tell and players will have to tune in to Ubisoft’s E3 conference to learn more.

If you’re interested in trying out the game, you can do so now for free through May 7. Players who download the free trial will have access to everything in the game and, if interested, they can purchase the game at a discounted rate of 67% off, which makes the price tag $19.79.
