Can You Change Hairstyle in God of War?
God of War is back, and takes players on an adventure in Norse mythology this time around. Kratos has an impressive beard going on, a faithful son named Atreus and an awesome new weapon to cut down his foes with. It’s somewhat of a re-imagining of the series, ditching the frenetic, over-the-top action for something a little more story-driven. Kratos is older, slower but no less deadly as he wields the new Leviathan Axe, a weapon that can be thrown and subsequently called back to his hand, Thor style. There’s no jump button to rely on and the camera is fixed more closely to Kratos’ back, making for a more up-close and personal dynamic. There is some customization available for Kratos in God of War on PS4, with players able to change the properties of both armor and weapons. You may be wondering if you can do something about Kratos’ bald head, so with that in mind can you change hairstyle in God of War?
Unfortunately, the new customization does not extend to changing your hairstyle, so your dreams of donning Kratos with a glorious Dad mullet are squashed. Probably for the best though, as watching Kratos journey through a harrowing story might be a little less impactful if Kratos was sporting a hairstyle like a giant mohawk.
It’s not all bad news, though, as there’s plenty of ways you can switch up Kratos’ axe, adding new elemental effects and altering the appearance slightly, and armor (there’s chest, wrist, and waist armor) to suit your play-style.
