Dark Souls: Remastered Switch Edition Officially Delayed

Dark Souls Remastered

If you were looking forward to taking Dark Souls: Remastered with you everywhere you go this May, unfortunately that’s going to have to wait. The game, as announced by Bandai Namco, has been pushed back from its proposed May 25 release to a much more nebulous “summer” instead. Unfortunately, it seems that you’ll have to wait for both the Solaire of Astora amiibo as well, which is a crime against Dark Souls fans everywhere.

Weirdly enough, it looks like the rest of the versions of the game will still be releasing on track for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One when they debut on May 25. While this gives you some more time to sharpen your skills, it also means you won’t be able to play Souls anywhere for a little while. There’s no proposed new release date just yet, so we’ll have to wait and see when we’ll be able to get our hands on it.
