How to Save Your Game in Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is the latest title from Rare, and it allows players to sail the seas in their very own pirate ship. You can team up with up to three other players to explore the open world, as well as plunder an island for treasure chests. Along the way, you’ll also encounter other players who may not necessarily want to play nice with you, and you could destroy their ship and steal their treasure if you’d like. Of course, the hostile seas mean you’ll want to make sure you save your progress frequently.
Because Sea of Thieves is an always-online game, you can rest assured that your progress in the game will always be saved. Every little thing you do in the game, like turning in your treasure chests for money, decorating your ship, buying new outfits and weapons, or purchasing pets will be recorded. Whenever you quit the game and boot it up again, all of your character and ship changes should be recorded and waiting for you safely.
Even when you die in-game, there’s no checkpoint system as you’ll simply respawn on your ship again, and you can try to tackle whatever island or challenge you were previously on. Whenever you want to quit out of the game, simply bring up the main menu and exit the game or server from there.
