How to Destroy Silos in Far Cry 5
Eden’s Gate has begun taking over Hope County in Far Cry 5, and it’s down to you to raise resistance against them by any means necessary. By blowing up their property, you can earn points that’ll push you closer to coming face to face with The Father himself. If you’re wanting to destroy silos in Far Cry 5, but haven’t worked out how, let us run you through them.
These silos that belong to Eden’s Gate are scattered around the map, just waiting for you to use them. The next time you find one, try shooting the pipes or the silo itself to create a large explosion. If you’re a bit iffy on your aiming skills, just throw a molotov cocktail or some other explosive item for the exact same effect. You can select your weapon or explosive of choice by pressing and holding L1 (LB on Xbox One) to bring up the weapon wheel.
Whichever way you blow it up doesn’t really matter since it clears any foes nearby. This method is especially useful when you’re running a bit low on supplies, saving you a few good bullets and items. If enemies aren’t around, at least you’ll get to look at a pretty explosion and earn some resistance points.
Aside from silos, there’s more Eden’s Gate property for you to destroy such as shrines and a giant statue, too. Don’t be afraid to shoot any suspicious-looking structures – you never know what you may get out of it.
