Like with most farming simulators, My Time at Portia allows players to woo several villagers in town. In this game, Emily is one of the many bachelorettes you have the option of marrying. She is a bright young woman who looks after her grandmother and the farm, making her a perfect wife if you’re looking for someone who shares the same farming interests as you.

To woo Emily in My Time at Portia, you can start by giving her some items. The farmer is particularly fond of the Busy Farm book, which you can get for 300 Knight Badges at the minigame area of the Diner. She also loves Chicken Earrings, Journey From The East, Fruit Salad, and Roses. If you don’t have any of those items, you can give her Sapphire, Pumpkin Steamed Rice, Sapphire, Egg, or Milk instead.

On top of that, there may be a few times when she will ask for one of these items: Chicken Earrings, Pumpkin Pie, or Fruit Salad. Whenever she asks for one, make sure to give it as soon as possible, as it will give you almost twice as much relationship points in My Time at Portia.

It’s worth noting that Emily’s birthday is on 1.17, so it’s definitely worth giving her a gift on her special day. For some bonus relationships points, make sure to talk to her every day and play RPS (Rock, Paper, Scissors).

If you’re confident with your combat prowess, you can even spar with Emily, too. She’ll be at level eight, which makes her a pretty easy target to take down. When looking for the farmer in My Time at Portia, you can find her at Sophie’s Ranch and the Peach Plaza from mornings until the afternoon. She’ll wander off the Central Plaza and back to Sophie’s Ranch during the latter half of the day.

When you and Emily get closer together, you can invite her out on play dates. To take your relationship to the next level, give them a Heart Knot, which you can get from Alice’s Shop. When she’s finally your girlfriend, you can confess your level at eight hearts and finally, officially making you two the next big couple in My TIme at Portia.

If you marry Emily, she will help you with some of the domestic work and resource gathering. On top of that, you’ll even receive a 25 percent discount on products at Sophie’s Ranch.
