Can You Get Red Hare in Dynasty Warriors 9?
Update: Since the time of publishing, we’ve discovered that Red Hare actually can be gotten in Dynasty Warriors 9. To do so, you’ll need to complete the story modes for Lu Bu, Dong Zhuo, and Guan Yu, before heading to a merchant to pick up your trusty steed.
Red Hare has long been the name of the best horse in the Dynasty Warriors series and has often required unlocking if you wanted to get your hands on it. Well, Red Hare does return in Dynasty Warriors 9, but not quite in the same unlockable format as fans might be expecting.
During our time with the game, we found that this particular steed could only be used when playing through some specific chapters as Lu Bu. If you want to use one of the 89 other characters in Dynasty Warriors 9, or just use Red Hare during another chapter or mission, you’ll be fresh out of luck.
Unfortunately, then, it looks like the fan-favorite horse isn’t fully unlockable in Dynasty Warriors 9. A crying shame considering it’d come in handy when trying to get across the game’s huge open world.
We’re still diving into the game in order to figure out what you might have to do to unlock this elusive horse for use with all characters, so if we find a solution, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
