Pokémon Company International aims to make 2018 a legendary year for Pokémon fans.

In a recent press release, the company revealed its plans to make several of the series’ legendaries available throughout 2018 to owners of Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Two legendaries are set to be available each month from February through November.

“As a thank you to all the Trainers out there who have been so committed and passionate about Pokémon over the years, we want to make 2018 a legendary year,” said J.C. Smith, senior director of Consumer Marketing for The Pokémon Company International. “We’re offering fans a chance to access these powerful Legendary Pokémon across the brand while celebrating their role in the franchise’s legacy.”

Details about where and how the legendaries can be obtained will be released closer to their release. For now, the full list of planned legendaries and their corresponding months can be viewed below.

  • February: Dialga and Palkia
  • March: Regigigas and Heatran
  • April: Raikou and Entei
  • May: Xerneas and Yveltal
  • June: Zygarde and Formes
  • July: Tornadus and Thundurus
  • August: Groudon and Kyogre
  • September: Latios and Latias
  • October: Reshiram and Zekrom
  • November: Ho-Oh and Lugia

The company also plans to offer special promotions and events for its mobile titles Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Go. Shuffle players will be able to participate in a special event featuring Dialga and Palkia February 6 through February 13, with other legendary focused events planned throughout the year. No specifics have been given for Go’s planned promotions, but the Pokémon Company says more information will be available soon.
