How to Get Poison Sacs Fast in Monster Hunter World
While taking down fearsome beasts in Monster Hunter World, you’ll often come across valuable materials that can be used in crafting and recipes. Poison Sacs are one such item that’s pretty useful in a lot of crafting options, so you’ll obviously want to know how to get your hands on some. The item can be gained from hunting Pukei-Pukei, the strange chicken-looking monster you’ll encounter.
Early on in Monster Hunter World you’ll have to hunt Pukei-Pukei during some of the early story quests. Occasionally, you’ll be given a Poison Sac as a quest reward, however, there’s also a way of getting them from simply hunting the monster. If you manage to “break” a Pukei-Pukei’s head during battle, you’ll be able to gather a Poison Sac that it drops. Just focus on the creature’s head, and if you manage to break it you’ll be given a message that you’ve done so. After that just search around on the ground nearby and you should find a Poison Sac to add to your inventory. Of course, it might be easier to find it if you kill the Pukei-Pukei first.
