Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age brought a reworked version of Final Fantasy XII, which originally debuted on PlayStation 2, to PlayStation 4 last year. Now it’s coming to PC on Feb. 1, by way of Steam, so everyone can get in on the fun.
The Zodiac Age includes 60 FPS, compatibility with 21:9 monitors (up to three), New Game Plus and New Game Minus modes, a remastered soundtrack with upgraded visuals, and a swath of additional features all meant to make things look and feel even better than ever. Particularly of use is the fast forward function, which can get you out of some uninteresting or frustrating sections, or make the game go at a quicker pace than is usual.
There’s a special livestream happening on Feb. 12 at 12 AM PST, where you can join producer Hiroaki Kato and director Takashi Katano, who will be answering questions submitted to them via Twitter. It’ll be subtitled and streamed on YouTube, so if you’ve got some burning questions to pose, make sure you don’t miss the stream and ready your questions for all things Final Fantasy XII.
Plus, if you buy the game on PC during its first week on Steam, you’ll get a 20% discount, a new Steam skin, and a three-track music offering. That’s nothing compared to the $149.99 Collector’s Edition via the Square Enix Online Store, but hey, it’s something!
