The Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta Will End as Planned Despite Technical Problems

You'll have to wait until the game launches now to play more.

The Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta took place over the weekend beginning on Saturday for anyone who was in the Early Access beta group, but there were lots of server issues yesterday, leaving many players out of the action. While some were able to play on Saturday, when the game was made available for everyone to play instead of just a select group, there were a ton of connectivity issues.

There was a silver lining when the Bandai Namco US Twitter account posted the following, stating that the beta may be extended in light of the connection problems.

Unfortunately, despite potentially hinting that the beta would be extended due to the technical issues, the Bandai Namco UK Twitter posted an update that confirmed that yes, the beta would be ending as of tonight. As it stands, it looks like the beta will indeed be ending tonight.

Hopefully this means that the actual game when it releases Jan. 26 won’t experience the same problems as the beta, and it’ll all be gravy for players to jump in and enjoy.
