Nintendo has been extremely generous when it came to adding new content to their latest IP, ARMS. Following months of new characters, stages, and badges, game director Kosuke Yabuki has just confirmed that the development team no longer has any current plans for major updates.
“More Party Crash events are on the way, and we’ll continue to make balance adjustments and other small changes to improve the gaming experience, but we currently have no plans for bigger updates,” Yabuki stated, speaking to Eurogamer.
The game director added that with the addition of Dr. Coyle, all of the ARMS fighters are finally complete. The developers also feel that each fighter’s strengths and weaknesses are now “generally balanced,” but they still plan to release a few tweaks in the future. Coupling this with more Party Crash events, he and the team hope that players will continue to enjoy the game “for many years.”
ARMS is available to play on the Nintendo Switch.
