Ubisoft is celebrating the tenth anniversary for two of its franchises by offering two free titles throughout the month of December.
The 2007 real-time strategy game World in Conflict and its Soviet Assault expansion pack become free starting today until Dec. 11 at 5 a.m. ET. Simply sign in with a Uplay account here to claim a copy and it will be automatically added to your Uplay library.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft had discontinued online multiplayer servers for the game since Dec. 15, 2015, but a group of players have created a new service that works with the game client. Reddit user exonic112 has provided instructions on how to get it working, which requires installing some extra files and a free CD key.
The Assassin’s Creed game also celebrates its tenth anniversary, so Ubisoft is giving away Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. ET until Dec. 18 at 5 a.m. ET. It too will require a Uplay account and the client.
