What the Max Level Cap Is in Middle-earth Shadow of War
Hitting the max level cap means you’ve done some serious leveling in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and you’re a force to be reckoned with. You can power up both Talion and your orcs to be extremely formidable foes, and if you’ve got the best equipment and gear as well, your enemies will be no match for you, folding at your feet like dominoes falling into place. You’ll definitely want to keep an eye on your level later on in the game when grinding may become more necessary if you don’t focus on it throughout your normal playthrough.
Right now, with the game in its early stages, there’s no concrete information on exactly what the level cap of both the orcs and Talion actually is. From personal experience, I can attest that I’ve reached at least level 55 with Talion, though I haven’t been able to personally confirm the cap. Some of the higher-level orc gear in-game require at least a level 55 orc, which stands to reason that the level cap must be at or above 55, likely the 60 that players have reported around the internet.
Some players have indicated that Talion’s level cap tops out at 60, such as the user JKiii via GameFAQs. Others have stated that the orcs follow suit, topping out at 60 as well. Unfortunately it does not appear that there is any concrete information as to what the level cap may be at this time, but as players continue to work through the game and reach the upper levels, we’ll be able to hash out at what point Talion and your orcs continue to level up.
