Fire Emblem Warriors DLC packages have been detailed on the Australian eShop, revealing nine characters that will be coming to the game.

The Fire Emblem Fates DLC will be released in December of this year, featuring Azura, Niles, and Oboro. New history mode maps featuring the characters will also be released. Azura and Oboro will be the first infantry units to wield lances/naginatas, but it will interesting to see how Koei Tecmo differentiates Niles from Takumi and Sakura. Azura’s singing and water-manipulation are sure to make her a standout character.

Shadow Dragon DLC comes next, starring Navarre, Minerva, and Linde. Minerva, a fan favorite, is a wyvern rider who wields a legendary weapon: Hauteclere. Navarre, a stoic mercenary, is a traditional sword wielding myrmidon. Linde, a mage looking to avenge her murdered father, uses the legendary tome Aura. She’ll be the first pure infantry mage when the DLC arrives in February.

Awakening DLC heads to Warriors last, featuring Owain, Tharja, and Olivia. Owain already appears in the main story, and like Navarre he is an infantry sword unit. He wields the somewhat legendary blade Missiletainn and is sure to have plenty of flashy techniques and catchphrases for his attacks. Tharja, a dark mage, always ranks highly in popularity contests so it’s no surprise to see her headed to Warriors. Olivia isn’t known for her combat prowess. She’s a dancer, giving units a second turn in traditional Fire Emblem games. It remains to be seen whether or not that gets incorporated into her Warriors moveset, but perhaps she could buff her allies. Awakening’s DLC will arrive in March.

Fire Emblem Warriors DLC pack individually will cost $8.99, and the Season Pass will cost $19.99. The game launches on Oct. 20, so stay tuned for our review next week and more Fire Emblem Warriors content as more details about the DLC comes out.
