HOW LONG ASSASSIN’S CREED ORIGINS IS AND HOW MANY QUESTS THERE ARE
Just as in previous entries in the series, players can expect an enormous open world to explore in Assassin’s Creed Origins. In fact, according to developer comments, Origins’ map is roughly the same size as that of Black Flag. It’s important to note, however, that unlike Black Flag, Origins’ map features no open sea and is all explorable land. That makes Origins the largest Assassin’s Creed map by total volume of land. As such, many players are wondering how long it’ll take to beat the game, as well as how many quests the action is split over.
The first thing to know about Assassin’s Creed Origins is that unlike games of the series gone by, Origins does not have any memory sequences. In fact, the game is structured more like a traditional open-world action role-playing game with main and side quests. There are twenty-four main quests and around sixty quests side quests in total.
As with any game of this size, total playtime will depend entirely on how much time you take to explore all that it has to offer. The main campaign itself takes roughly twenty hours to complete, but you can tack many more hours onto that total if you’re the sort of player that explores everything, completes every side quest, and takes the time to find all the collectibles.
