SEGA has launched a new survey to find out the level of interest among western gamers in its upcoming Yakuza projects.
Recently, the Yakuza Studio known officially as Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, announced three new projects. It confirmed that Yakuza Kiwami 2 – a remake of the original first released on PS2 – and a new project called Hokuto ga Gotoku would come to PS4. Additionally, an upcoming mobile title called Yakuza Online is also in the works.
Having successfully launched Yakuza Zero last year, and with the upcoming release of the Kiwami remake in arriving this week, it seems SEGA now wants to know whether these new titles are of interest to western audiences, and presumably, whether it is worth localizing them outside of Japan.
If you are interested, you can take the survey here. We’ve pictured a sample of the survey below:
The Kiwami remake launches tomorrow, August 29 in the west. The sequel title is set for release in Japan on December 7, 2017. Localization information has not yet been released.
