Today, Nintendo announced the Super NES Classic Edition, which is due to arrive in September this year and will include the never before released Star Fox 2.
With a total of 21 pre-installed games, the Super NES Classic Edition will most notably include Star Fox 2. For those unaware as to why this is such a big deal, Star Fox 2 was developed during the SNES era, but was never actually released. As such, the Super NES Classic Edition is not only bringing beloved classics, but a brand-new retro title to boot. Alongside the system, Nintendo has packed in an HDMI cable, one USB charging cable with AC adapter, and two wired Super NES Classic Controllers.
Based on the success of the NES Classic Edition, you’ll want to keep an eye out for pre-orders of this system, as it’s sure to sell out fast. The Super NES Classic Edition will launch on Sept. 29 for a suggested retail price of $79.99
