South Park: The Fractured But Whole was originally announced at last year’s E3 and since then we’ve been eagerly awaiting the sequel to the hilarious Stick of Truth. Ubisoft’s E3 conference has finished and we saw a lot of great new games such as the surprise reveal of Beyond Good and Evil 2 and some Far Cry 5 gameplay. The Fractured But Whole was also featured during the show and we got to see its latest trailer. It looks like the crude humor is still very much present and, despite the several delays, it looks like this is a sequel truly worth the wait.
The game was originally set to be released late last year, meaning delays have caused it to be almost a year late, but now it looks like we have a solid release window. It’s always frustrating when games are delayed but it’s better in the long run if they launch well with no bugs or issues. We’ll be counting down the days until we can return to that small town in Colorado. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is set to be released on October 17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
