Pillars of Eternity, the acclaimed 2015 RPG, will finally be coming to consoles later this year with a Complete Edition. Paradox Interactive and Obsidian Entertainment are partnering to bring Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition to Xbox One and PS4 on August 29. A physical release of the game will also be distributed by 505 Games.
The Complete Edition includes the full version of the game, as well as its two expansions The White March – Parts I and II. Pillars of Eternity has also been reworked for consoles to map controls for play on a controller, and a redesigned UI for easy viewing on televisions. Here’s a quick overview of the game courtesy of Paradox Interactive
“Pillars of Eternity is an RPG inspired by classic titles such as Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment, which features an original world and game system that evokes and improves upon the traditional computer RPG experience.”
Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition will launch on August 29 for PS4 and Xbox One. Make sure to take a look at the announcement trailer down below.
