In FFXIV: Stormblood, one of the most popular content to play through are dungeons. Dungeons are one of the primary ways of obtaining new gear, getting experience points and once roulettes are unlocked, obtaining tomestones which can be exchanged for powerful max-level appropriate equipment.
[Warning: If you don’t to be spoiled on the name of any of the dungeons in FFXIV: Stormblood, please don’t continue reading]
In Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood, a total of eight new dungeons have been added into the game at the expansion’s launch. In a recent interview with Twinfinite, FFXIV director Naoki Yoshida confirmed that they would work to diversify the amount of activities that players have to make dungeons not the end all be all for end game content as they were in earlier parts of FFXIV’s history. As such, less new dungeons will be added in during each subsequent patch throughout Stormblood’s lifespan. There will be three new dungeons added every two patches instead of four.
The Palace of the Dead is also a very popular way for players to level up and be sure to check that out as well if you’re returning from a long break.
Still, to start FFXIV: Stormblood off, there are eight, and here they all are:
Level 61: The Sirensong Sea
Level 63: Shisui of the Violent Tides
Level 65: Bardam’s Mettle
Level 67: Doma Castle
Level 69: Castrum Abania
Level 70: Ala Mihgo
Level 70: Kugane Castle
Level 70: The Temple of the Fist
As it was previously, the dungeons from 61-69 are dungeons that can be accessed in lower tier roulettes, while the 70-capped dungeons will be your expert level dungeons that you can run to get tomestones to exchange for new gear. These new dungeons, as usual, are four player light party content.
If you’re wondering what happened to the Heavensward content, it is now packaged in with the A Realm Reborn dungeons into a nice and tidy 50/60 dungeon roulette that you can complete for a nice EXP bonus and some tomestones.
That does for all of the new dungeons added in FFXIV: Stormblood. Good luck taking on the enemies that lie within!
