JUNE 2017 XBOX ONE GAME RELEASES
(WEEK ONE: 6/1 – 6/3)
June is almost upon us bringing with it E3, warmer weather, and a bit of a drought when it comes to game releases on the Xbox One. However, in the first few days of the month, Xbox One owners will be able to get their hands on Tekken 7.
The ninth entry in the Tekken series (including spinoffs) will be the first to make use of Unreal Engine 4 as players fight their way through the final chapter of the 20-year-long Mishima feud. Expect the fighting to feel as slick as ever, excellent visuals, and a cameo appearance from Street Fighter’s Akuma, too.
Tekken 7 is the only game that releases in the first couple of days on Xbox One, releasing June 2.

(WEEK TWO: 6/4 – 6/10)
The second week of June is actually the busiest for video game releases on Xbox One. Perception, which was supposed to release at the end of May, was delayed a week to June 6 and will see players explore a mysterious abandoned house as a blind woman called Cassie. You’ll have to use her excellent hearing and smarts to navigate around and uncover the secrets.
Elsewhere, The Elder Scrolls Online is set to get even bigger with the Morrowind expansion releasing on June 6. Morrowind adds a whole new quest line, a new class, 4v4v4 PVP mode, and the largest landmass addition to Elder Scrolls Online to date.
On the same day, rally racing fans will be able to test their mettle in Dirt 4, and Telltale Game’s Guardians of the Galaxy gets its second episode, titled Under Pressure.
You can check out all of week two’s offerings below:
- June 6 – Perception
- June 6 – Dirt 4
- June 6 – Guardians of the Galaxy: Episode 2 – Under Pressure
- June 6 – Town of Light
- June 6 – The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind

(Wrap-Up)
Unfortunately, you’ve then got to wait until the end of June for any more Xbox One releases. On the bright side, there’s plenty to choose from releasing on June 27, so you should be able to find something that takes your fancy.
Dead by Daylight makes its way to Xbox One challenging four players to either work together or on their own to escape another player assuming the role of the killer. It makes for plenty of tense, gory, multiplayer fun, especially when you get some friends together.
Elite Dangerous Legendary Edition packs in the original game, its expansion, and 1000 Frontier points into one convenient package. Players take control of their own starship as they explore our Milky Way and interact with the various colonies and superpowers that have formed.
