Prey: How to Crouch

How to Crouch in Prey

Recommended Videos

As you take on the Typhon and explore the vast space station in Prey, you’ll occasionally want to crouch to get through a tight space or to sneak up on enemies. Of course, there’s nothing worse than wanting to do something in a game and not knowing exactly how to do it, so we’re here to help you out.

All you need to do to crouch in Prey is press the Circle button on PS4 or B button on Xbox One. Morgan will then adopt a crouched position and will walk more slowly. This does come with its advantages, though. You’ll make less noise and will be more difficult see by enemies when you’re crouched. To stand back up, simply press the button again.

If you’re sprinting and then press the Circle or B Button, it’s worth noting that Morgan will slide across the floor a bit before coming to a stop. Take this into account if you know enemies are nearby. You don’t want to slide straight out of cover after all.

That’s all you need to know to crouch in Prey. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
