The Witcher series isn’t over quite yet, as Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is set to release later this year. A stylish new trailer released by CD Projekt Red today gives us a brief look at a gorgeously animated Gwent match, which just so happens to be between Geralt and Ciri.
It’s a playful trailer that helps highlight the relationship between the two characters. Gwent will not only feature a whole host of multiplayer features, but will also include a single player story mode, with new content created by the writers of The Witcher 3. Another gameplay-focused trailer released earlier today details the various game mode and systems at play in Gwent, and you can even catch a glimpse of the upcoming campaign mode, which will be detailed at a later date. You can see both trailers down below.
Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is set to fully release sometime in 2017, although we don’t have an exact date. However, an Open Beta for the game is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
