How Long Is Zelda Breath of the Wild?
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is finally out and early impressions have been screaming its praises from the metaphorical rooftops. Breath of the Wild sees players exploring a slightly different-looking Hyrule in the shoes of the Hero of Time once more. Of course, many players will be wondering just how long Breath of the Wild is and how many dungeons are in its large open world.
Most players spend around 40 to 50 hours in Breath of the Wild before defeating Ganon in the final battle. This, of course, can vary completely, as you can completely ignore the story and go straight for the final boss fight with Ganon if you’re up to the ruthless challenge.
Breath of the Wild also has tons of stuff to see and do, and as such, you’ll be able to easily spend 100 hours completing the story, clearing the Shrines, and seeing everything that the world has to offer.
Rather than having a good few larger dungeons, though, the game has four main dungeons in the story for you to get through. This doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have as much of that delightful gameplay as previous titles. Instead, it’s simply spread across the huge open world and 100 Shrines.
And that’s how many hours you’ll probably spend exploring Hyrule in this new adventure. Now that you know how long Breath of the Wild is, for more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
