Ghost Recon Wildlands: How to Join a Public Game

Ghost Recon Wildlands allows you to explore the game’s version of Bolivia on your own with AI squad-mates or online with four real-world people. For the latter, you can play with friends or join a public match to fight alongside three random players.

Joining a public match is simple. You press the touch pad on PlayStation 4, or the view button on Xbox One, to access the Tac Menu. The Tac Menu allows you to see the map, your character’s skills, your chosen loadout, and the lobby details. You will need to scroll across to the ‘Lobby’ section of the menu and the first option on that page is ‘Join Public Matchmaking’.

Choosing this option will prompt the game into searching for potential players to join your squad and after a few seconds you will be back to fighting the cartel, with three other players alongside you.

That is how you join a public game in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. For more on the game check out our wiki.
