Square Enix is working on a new RPG, and they’re calling it Project Prelude Rune for now. Not much is known about the RPG right now, but the company did share some conceptual artwork for the game, and it looks like it’ll take place in a fantasy setting. In addition to that, the project is being worked on by a new studio called Studio Istolia. More interestingly, the studio and project are being headed up by Hideo Baba, who is well-known for his work on Bandai Namco’s Tales Of series.
Baba will be producing Project Prelude Rune, which looks like it’s going in a completely different direction from the Tales Of games, along with what we’re used to seeing from him. The studio’s official webpage is also open, and they’re currently hiring, which suggests that the project is still pretty early in development stages. You can check out the game’s early images in the gallery down below.
We’ll keep you updated as more info about Project Prelude Rune comes our way.
