Grand Theft Auto V has managed to climb to the top of the UK game charts for the third time this year, despite originally being released back in 2013. The game first managed to climb to the top back in January where it stayed there for two weeks in a row. Several high profile games have since been released including Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Gravity Rush 2, it seems neither of these can stop Grand Theft Auto V.
The recently released Nioh sits in second whilst Resident Evil 7 is in third. FIFA 17 is in fourth place and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare brings up the rear in fifth. The top 20 are as follows:
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Nioh
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
- FIFA 17
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Battlefield 1
- Rocket League
- Hitman: The Complete First Season
- Overwatch
- Watch Dogs 2
- Minecraft: Xbox Edition
- Forza Horizon 3
- WWE 2K17
- Mafia III
- Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
- Tom Clancy’s The Division
- Pokemon Sun
- Final Fantasy XV
- Lego Marvel Avengers
It will be interesting to see if Grand Theft Auto will be able to hold on to the top spot for another week running. This week will see the release of both For Honor and Sniper Elite 4, two very highly anticipated games. GTA V will have to fight hard to stay on top.
