For Honor: Does It Have Split Screen? What You Need to Know

Split Screen in For Honor (Co-Op and Competitive?)

Recommended Videos

With For Honor out, multitudes of players are taking to the online battlefield in order to test their skills with a variety of different brutal weapons. Even though this title has a single player campaign that is around 9 hours long, the main selling point for this game is the online component. Still, fans of the game are likely going to want to sit next to their best bud while they play. So, is there split screen in For Honor?

Sadly, For Honor only supports online matchmaking and has no way to play split screen with your friends and family. This is possibly due to the amount of information that’s onscreen at any one time, as players need to focus on the smallest details of their opponents in order to succeed in a fight.

Since you cannot play split screen, the only way to play with others is to actually form a party via the social button at the very top of your screen. This will bring up a tab that lets you manage not only your emblem, faction, and look at your statistics, but also invite players to your game.

To do this, click the big “Players” box on the left-hand side and then you can scroll through a list of people on your friend’s list to invite. Trust us, bringing some people to communicate with in the heat of battle will make a big difference in For Honor. Besides, everyone needs to hear you brag when you kick someone off of a cliff with almost no health left.

That’s all there is to it! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but now you know about split screen in For Honor. For more guides, tricks, and walkthroughs make sure to check out our For Honor wiki.
