LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS Plus)

Recommended Videos

Look, everybody loves Sackboy. In the latest entry of Media Molecule’s beloved series, Sackboy gets to go on yet another adventure full of colorful and innovative puzzle levels. There will be bubbles to burst, accessories to collect, and laughs to be had at the narrator’s snark. Of course, players will also be able to create their own puzzle levels and upload them to the server for other players to try out. Someone’s even recreated the Undead Asylum from Dark Souls, so feel free to let your imagination run wild.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is one of the free games you can get this February if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Not A Hero (PS Plus)

In Not A Hero, you play Steve, a guy who used to be an assassin but is now a mere campaign manager for his boss, who’s a bunny named BunnyLord. Not A Hero is a third-person cover-based shooter where Steve and his pixel friends must help to clean up the city. It’s a good bit of fun if you’re looking for something to play during your downtime. Not to be confused with Resident Evil 7’s ‘Not A Hero’ DLC coming this spring.

Starwhal (PS Plus)

If you’re looking for a solid couch co-op game to play with your friends, consider picking up Starwhal as well. It supports up to four players, and features 25 arenas and four game modes for you and your friends to mess around with. If you’re a fan of customization, there are also over 90 costumes to be unlocked in the game – perfect for completionists.

Anna – Extended Edition (PS Plus)

Anna – Extended Edition is an overhaul of the original Anna based on player feedback. As a result, this version of the game features even more environments and levels, better graphics, and a more user-friendly interface. Players are thrust into an abandoned sawmill in the Italian mountains and are forced to search for clues and solve creepy puzzles in order to escape the place.

TorqueL (PS Plus)

TorqueL looks rather bland in design, but it’s worth a look for those interested in puzzle and platforming games. The game has you take control of a tiny cube man as you attach yourself to surrounding objects and use them to get from one place to another. There is a total of 50 chambers for you to play through, and the game also features a secret route that you’ll have to uncover for yourself.

Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime (Games With Gold)

For those looking for more couch co-op games to add to their library, Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime is a good one to pick up this month if you’re an Xbox owner. The game supports up to four players in local co-op, and tasks you with keeping aliens out of your spaceship as you find your way home. Players will have to scavenge for gems to strengthen their ship and work together to keep the spacecraft in working condition as they journey through space. The level layouts are also randomized, meaning you’ll have to adapt to survive.

Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime is one of the free games you can get this February from Xbox’s Games with Gold.

Project Cars Digital Edition (Games With Gold)

If you’re more of a racing game person, this should pique your interest. Project Cars allows you to create your very own driver and embark on an intense driving career. If the single-player content is too tame for you, you can test your mettle against other drivers in the game’s multiplayer mode. Project Cars comes with a day/night dynamic weather cycle, coupled with pit stops and avenues for you to fine tune your car, making it a must-have for fans of racing games.

Monkey Island 2: SE (Games With Gold)

Monkey Island 2 continues the story of wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood as he embarks on another adventure to find the treasure of Big Whoop. The interesting thing about Monkey Island 2 is that if you find the game’s puzzles to be a bit too challenging, you can choose to play a ‘Lite’ version of the game that will bypass most of its puzzles. The first Monkey Island was offered as one of Xbox’s Games With Gold last year, so if you picked that up and loved it, this is a prime opportunity for you to continue the story.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Games With Gold)

Originally released back in 2008, The Force Unleashed’s story takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. In this game, you take control of Starkiller, Darth Vader’s new apprentice, and you’re tasked with wiping out the surviving Jedi so that Emperor Palpatine can rule over the galaxy. The Force Unleashed is a third-person action game that comes packed with tons of lightsaber combat – something that should appeal to any Star Wars fans.
