Resident Evil 7: How to Heal

How to Heal – Resident Evil 7

Recommended Videos

No matter how hard you try to stay out of danger in Resident Evil 7, you’re gonna end up taking damage sooner or later. Whether it’s a bunch of tough enemies, or one of the game’s boss battles, there’s going to come a time where you’ll need to heal.

In order to heal in Resident Evil 7, you’re going to need to have either a First Aid Med, or a Strong First Aid Med. While the first will restore a good chunk of your life, if you’re in the danger state, it won’t fully replenish your health. That’s where these stronger kits come in. You’ll want to save these for those moments where things really aren’t looking good for Ethan, and use the standard kits for more minor injuries.

Once you’ve got one of these in your inventory, all you need to do to actually use the item and heal yourself is press the R1 or RB button. You’ll then see Ethan grab a bottle and splash it over himself. The blood that surrounded your view should now clear off the screen as you heal, and the bar on Ethan’s watch should have replenished also. You’re now all healed up and ready to continue with the adventure.

If you can’t seem to find either sort of that will heal you, you can craft them with the right ingredients. You’ll need an Herb and either Chem Fluid or Strong Chem Fluid to make a First or Strong Aid Med respectively.

That’s all there is to healing in Resident Evil 7. For more tips, tricks, and information on Resident Evil 7, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
