The Nintendo Switch was shown quite a bit during its press conference, but there are a few tiny details that didn’t get brought up during the event.
The battery life was originally the only detail mentioned during the conference, with it being between 2.5 to 6.5 hours depending on the game fans are playing. Thankfully, there is more information available on the official Nintendo website which does state that the Switch will have 32GB of internal memory. If that isn’t enough, the storage can be expanded by using microSDXC cards.
The Switch will feature a 6.2-inch multi-touch screen which can display a resolution of 1280 x 720. Interestingly enough, that will be the same size as the Wii U gamepad, which sported a 854 x 480 resolution. The dock will also feature a USB Type-C port on the side along with a TV outlet LED. Another small detail that wasn’t mentioned during the press conference was the fact that the Nintendo Switch will be using game cartridges, something that was largely discussed during the NX days.
Fans don’t have to wait long to get their hands on the Switch and check out its specs in person, as the console will be released on March 3 for the price of $299.99.
