Atlus recently announced that Persona 5 would be delayed as the reception to the Japanese release of the game had been a lot more overwhelming than they’d expected. Thus, the developers decided that they wanted to take the extra time to refine the localized script and make sure it was the best it could be before finally releasing it to the public.
That said, we also recently found out that the localized script in Persona 5 is actually 50% longer than the one in Persona 4 Golden. As we all know, Persona 4 itself was a pretty lengthy game on the PS4. However, Golden added tons of new events and two new social links to the vanilla game, making it several hours longer than it originally was. Having 50% more dialogue means that there’s going to be tons of content we can expect in Persona 5, and it’ll likely be even longer than Golden was. That’s pretty exciting news for series fans.
Persona 5 is set to be released for the PS4 and PS3 on April 4.
