FIFA 17 has managed to be at the top of the UK game charts for the fifth time since it was released, no easy feat considering it was up against the highly anticipated release of Final Fantasy XV.
Final Fantasy XV may not have managed to debut in first place, but it has still been massively successful and has become the fastest-selling game in the Final Fantasy series.
The top 20 are as follows:
- FIFA 17
- Final Fantasy XV
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Battlefield 1
- Forza Horizon 3
- Watch Dogs 2
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Pokemon Moon
- Pokemon Sun
- Minecraft: Xbox Edition
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Gears of War 4
- Titanfall 2
- Fallout 4
- Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens
- Dishonored 2
- Overwatch
- WWE 2K17
- Rocket League
FIFA 17 may have spent a total of five weeks in the top spot but only three of those were consecutive. Ubisoft’s new extreme sports game Steep was released last week but has failed to make the top 20, debuting at 24.
This coming week will see the release of several big titles including Dead Rising 4, Yakuza 6, and the long awaited release of The Last Guardian. Will any of them be able to take the throne from FIFA 17?
