The Firewatch Soundtrack Gets a Stylish Vinyl Release

Makes a good gift.

Firewatch

Firewatch was released earlier this year to mixed reception. Some enjoyed the story, while others found its ending to feel a tad unsatisfying. Still, none can deny the pleasures of walking through the Wyoming wilderness and basking in the soothing tunes of its soundtrack. Speaking of soundtrack, Campo Santo has a vinyl release for it, and it’s now available on their official store.

‘Interestingly enough, nothing about this soundtrack is period appropriate to Firewatch the video game. If it was pressed in 1988, the year the game is set, folks would wonder why it wasn’t on cassette tape.  Not to mention that this LP comes with a download card for the OST (MP3’s and FLACs delivered by both Bandcamp and Steam, whichever you prefer) which would really bamboozle a music connoisseur of the late 80’s.’

The soundtrack will cost you $25, a small price to pay for a lovely set filled with gorgeous music. Firewatch is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Will you be picking this one up? Let us know in the comments down below.
