Saving Your Game – Final Fantasy XV
As a massive title with dozens of playable hours, Final Fantasy XV is an adventure you’ll want to save quite often. Luckily, doing so is fairly simple, and even if you don’t manually save, there is a background checkpoint system that will reload you to a nearby point should you die.
In cases where you don’t want to rely on the spotty autosave feature, which should be most cases, you should look to manual saving. To save your game file this way, head into the options menu, which is distinct from you customization menu. There, you’ll see the Save option. Select that, choose a save slot, and you’ll be all set. You can have multiple game files, as well as overwrite a previous one. You’ll also be able to load previous files from this menu.
Final Fantasy XV is filled with plenty of dangers and massive beasts. We recommend you save often, so that you don’t spend your time in Eos retracing your steps.
