How Long It Is – Dishonored 2
Dishonored 2 is the sequel and follow-up to Arkane Studios’ hit first-person action/stealth game, Dishonored. In this entry, players get to take control of either Corvo Attano (the original protagonist from the first game) or Emily Kaldwin, the young princess who has since grown up to take her seat as the Empress of Dunwall.
There is a total of nine main chapters in the game, listed below:
- A Long Day in Dunwall
- Edge of the World
- The Good Doctor
- The Clockwork Mansion
- The Royal Conservatory
- Dust District
- A Crack in the Slab
- The Grand Palace
- Death to the Empress
Each of these chapters will put you in a new stage or level of sorts, where you get to explore your surroundings, pick up collectibles, and interact with civilians. There will be hostile territories (where you’ll usually need to venture to in order to progress in the story), where you’ll encounter enemies and find even more collectibles to pick up. Of course, each stage will come with different points of entry and methods of infiltration. One main chapter can take anywhere from two and a half to three hours to complete, depending on how thorough you want to be. The first chapter is markedly shorter than the rest, but completing all chapters should take you around 20 hours or so.
It should be noted that Dishonored 2 is a game meant to be played multiple times. Both Corvo and Emily will give you vastly different perspectives on the events that go down in the game, and the endings you get will vary, depending on whether you chose to be a ruthless killer, or a more stealthy assassin.
Dishonored 2 is set to be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11.
