A few days ago, it was announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered would be released a month before Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. However, this early release would only be available to those who pre-ordered the digital version of the Legacy Edition, as opposed to those who pre-ordered the physical version of it. Those who pre-ordered the physical rendition will have to wait until Infinite Warfare’s release in order to play Modern Warfare Remastered on-disc. However, today, more information regarding a surprise early release has come out.
Power Up Gaming reports that PlayStation 4 owners are able to play the campaign of Modern Warfare Remastered earlier than initially planned. This is available in both Europe and North America and is available through PlayStation Network.
This early release is only limited to PlayStation 4 owners, but will eventually be available to Xbox One owners as well. Moreover, while it is only the campaign that is available at the moment, the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will eventually be available come Nov. 4th.
