Civilization VI will have you taking care of cities and naturally this means you need to make sure your economy is booming. Luckily, it’s not too hard to keep tabs on your gold expenses and profits. On the top side of your screen, you’ll see your civilization total gold, and next to it with a plus sign, how much they earn every turn.

- Certain Policy Cards
It’s necessary to keep these in mind, and never let your expenditures get too high. What might lead you into the red?

- Losing cities
So just make sure to keep these in mind. Without money, you won’t be able to spend money. Gold is vital to flourish your civilizations, expand quickly, and keep your citizens happy. Or, you know, even other civilizations off your back. Zero in on what you now know will earn you gold, and cut down on costs to get filthy rich.
