Just very recently (like roughly an hour or two ago, at time of writing), the sad news broke that Sony wasn’t going to allow Bethesda mods on the PS4 mods of Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remastered. Suffice to say, no one is happy about this, and it’s not at all a good look for Sony. But it is for competitor Microsoft, who clapped back with two very good tweets. The first was an endorsement for the Xbox One S:
Mod support ✅
Backward Compatibility ✅
Fastest, most reliable gaming network ✅ https://t.co/XS7pwdZWHB— Xbox UK (@xboxuk) September 9, 2016
The second came from programming director Major Nelson, and his by far the stronger of the two:

It’s been a good week for whoever runs the Xbox Twitter. When the PS4 Pro was announced, they almost instantly responded with a tweet for the One S. The person running that Twitter deserves a raise, and it’s likely they’ll get it, depending on what other Sony news unfurls over the next couple of days about this Bethesda mods business. On the upside, at least some people can play with mods on Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remastered…and who knows, maybe Sony will change their tune in the next week or two.
As for the folks at Nintendo? Well…
