Back in July, a Gears of War Xbox One S was announced with a release date of Oct. 7. According to Aaron Greenberg, marketing head at Xbox, that release date has been pushed up a day, meaning it will come out on the 6th.

The Xbox One S will be sporting a 2 TB hard drive and its badass design can only be described as bloody red with claw marks. It will also have a custom “Crimson Omen” controller that matches the design on the console.
The bundle includes Gears of War 4, along with the season pass for the game, character and weapon skins, a multiplayer lobby emblem, six “Gear” packs which carry in-game items, and a season pass for DLC all for the price of $449. The game does not release officially until Oct. 11, but those who get the bundle will have early access to the Ultimate edition of Gears of War 4 and get to play four days early.
The controller does come along with the console, but can be bought separately. If fans do not like the red controller, then there is another separate Gears of War 4 controller for sale, which is a blue metallic design called “JD Fenix.” Both controllers are up for pre-order for the price of $74.99 and will start shipping after Sept. 13.
