XCOM 2 was originally slated for an early September release on PS4 and Xbox One, but it looks like there will be a slight delay for console players who have been waiting for the game. According to Take-Two Interactive’s financial report, the game is now set to be released on September 27 in North America, and on September 30 for the rest of the world.
‘XCOM® 2 is now planned for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 27, 2016 in North America and September 30, 2016 internationally. Players who pre-order XCOM 2 orXCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the Resistance Warrior Pack.’
As mentioned in the report, those who preorder either version of the game on console will still be able to receive the extra Resistance Warrior Pack. The game was released on PC via Steam earlier this year, and is now available for PC players.
