No Man’s Sky: How to Get Suspension Fluid and What it Does

Hoard it until you can craft it.

Suspension Fluid- No Man’s Sky

Suspension Fluid is one of the most important base ingredients in No Man’s Sky. If you’re planning on crafting your own Warp Cells, you’ll need the Suspension Fluid along with other ingredients to warp to another star system.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to harvest or farm this ingredient from any of the planets – at least, it hasn’t been found on any of the planets we’ve been to so far. Right now, it looks like the only place you can get it from is the Galactic Trade terminal, or any other trade terminals you come across on various planets. Depending on the star system you’re in, the price of the Suspension Fluid could be anywhere from five to ten thousand units.

If you manage to find a blueprint for it, you can also craft your own Suspension Fluid with 50 Carbon, which is a lot more manageable to find. You’ll need to to craft an Electron Vapor, which is one of the important components for building a Warp Cell for your ship’s Hyperdrive.

Make sure to keep your Suspension Fluid with you, and don’t sell it off, no matter how good the price may be – well, until you get the blueprint and can craft it easily, that is.
