A Digitial Premium Edition of Final Fantasy XV was spotted on the PlayStation Network today, and it includes one particulary interesting piece of information in the description, a Season Pass.
The page for the Digital Premium Edition is currently live on the PSN, and costs $84.99. It includes a digital copy of the game, the Season Pass and a Final Fantasy XV: Big Bang theme for PS4, based off of Yoshitaka Amano’s artwork for the game.
Hajime Tabata, Final Fantasy XV’s director, has said that the game will be receiving DLC post-launch, although we haven’t hear any word on what that could be, or what the Season Pass might include. Collector’s Editions and Digital Deluxe Editions of the game do have exclusive DLC however, including things like extra weapons and skins for the Regalia, and even things like the Angler Set, which helps with fishing.
Final Fantasy XV launches on September 30, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The tie-in film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV hits select theaters on August 19, releases digitally on August 30 and can be purchased on Blu-ray and DVD starting on October 4. Fan reception to the film has reportedly been very good so far in Japan.
