We Happy Few: How to Cure the Plague

How to Cure the Plague in We Happy Few

Recommended Videos

There are many different negative conditions that can befall players in We Happy Few. One of the worst is the Plague. This disease, contracted from either dead carriers or contact with walking infected NPCs, causes a rapid increase in fatigue before leading to your death. Unlike other conditions, it can’t be treated with a simple balm, First Aid Kit, or sleep.

While it may seem hopeless, there is, in fact, a cure. It’s a chemical recipe. The item you’ll want to create is called the Phenocycline Syringe. To craft one you need:

  • One Empty Syringe
  • One Antiseptic
  • Two Filtered Waters

You’ll actually find the recipe on top of a chemistry station in the second safehouse you unlock. It’s located in the area where you first encounter Plague-infected NPCs. When you craft the cure, go ahead and make a few extras just in case. While it’s easy to see exactly who’s infected (they have this yellow mist around them), you can never be too safe in the world of We Happy Few. Also, it’s the only cure available to you, so it’s better to make some while you have the opportunity to do so than to need some later and not have what you need.
