A brand new trailer for Mafia III released today, introduces a major character for the game, Cassandra known as “The Voodoo Queen.” Cassandra is the leader of the Haitian Syndicate, and has a deep vendetta againts the Mafia. This looks like it could make her a valuable ally for Mafia III’s main character, Lincoln Clay, who is also seeking revenge against the Mafia for the murder of his childhood friends and adopted family.
The short trailer released give a quick look at Cassandra and some of her motivations, stating near the end “God help anyone who gets in her way.” It’s clear that Cassandra will play a major role in Mafia III, although much about her is still unknown. Take a look at her trailer down below.
Mafia III launches on October 7, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also be getting a Collector’s Edition that includes a vinyl record. Another recent trailer for Mafia III sheds more light on the protagonist Lincoln Clay, and the game’s Twitter account recently tweeted out a mysterious code.
