Kerbal Space Program will launch on PlayStation 4 next Tuesday, July 12th, Sony and game studio Squad have announced.
Posting the news via the PlayStation Blog, Sqaud co-owner Ezequiel Ayarza that the space flight simulation game, which officially released on PC last year, will finally be coming to Sony’s current-gen hardware.

Kerbal Space Program will arrive on PlayStation 4 with three full modes; Sandbox, where you are free to build anything without limitation, Science Mode, in which you perform experiments to discover new technologies, and Career Mode, which sees you controlling “every aspect of the space program”.
Ayarza also stated that the PlayStation 4 version arrives with “completely redesigned controls and gameplay”, and that by “using the triggers and sticks on DualShock 4, you can have a more precise analog experience to make advanced maneuvers with your aircraft.”
You’ll be able to download Kerbal Space Program from the PlayStation Store once it launches digitally next week, though no specific price point has been detailed.
The game is also slated to release on Xbox One in the near future, so stay tuned for that.
