The list of PSVR launch titles grows ever longer as Driveclub VR joins the group. Sony Japan has just announced on their official site that the game will be launched together with the PSVR headset on October 13. It’s not clear whether there will be an English release for this title just yet.
Here are the translated details about the new features to be included in the game, courtesy of Gematsu:
‘This new version of Driveclub offers a realistic racing experience previously unseen with a cockpit view through the PlayStation VR headset, as well as realistic sound with 3D audio, a mode where you can view each car from various angles, and newly added urban area courses.’
Driveclub VR will be available at retail and digitally at 4,900yen, which is about $48USD. The original Driveclub didn’t see a lot of success when it first launched on the PS4, but hopefully it’ll fare better as a PSVR launch title. Sony has also confirmed that all PSVR games will be compatible with the current PS4.
